Me and My NA Baby

Our Story

I found myself at a large convention looking for something to purchase for my eight-year-old son and found no options. Nothing was there for my baby. I ended up bringing him home a sticker sheet, smh. I thought to myself, "All these NA babies we have in the fellowship and there is nothing for them?" an idea was born. You see, my son is a direct result of my recovery journey. I was told at 25 that having kids was not physically possible. I was in active addiction and honestly, my life spiraled after receiving that news. It wasn't until I got clean, and was here for five years, that I was blessed with my miracle. Now, I, my mother, and my son are part of the NA family. My son has been raised by myself and the fellowship, as I get better, WE get better.

Addiction affects everyone around us, and when parents come into the fellowship, our children become a part of too. The hope is that we can all celebrate in the recovery journey.
